GraphBox™ is a new series of software tools made for teaching graphs and their properties.

GraphBox™ Quadratic is made specifically for teaching the properties of quadratic curves and their equations.

Position the curve by dragging

Handle points on the roots, stationary point and y-intercept let you reposition the curve as you like..

So you don't have to type in an equation to set your curve, you just drag it to where you want it!

Different forms of the equation

Display the equation of a quadratic curve in any one of the 3 standard forms:

As a trinomial:

... or factorised:

... or as a completed square:

Fractional coefficients give the equation as you'd see in a textbook.

Hide and reveal

The convenient vertical toolbar lets you hide or reveal different properties as you need to.

When you're teaching you usually need to hide the answer to precisely the thing you're teaching the class to find. If you're asking 'What's the equation of this curve?' then you need to be able to hide and show the equation quickly.

Intersection of Quadratic and Line

Display a quadratic curve and a line together to illustrate the solution to the intersection of a quadratic and a line. Show the solutions as fractions or decimals, as you need them.

What else?

• Reposition the axes by dragging the origin to where you want it.

• Change the axes scales by choosing from the toolbar.

• Tabs at the bottom of the screen give you access to 4 sheets, so you've lots of space to work.

• GraphBox-Quadratic remembers your current state, so next time you open the software it will be exactly as you left it.
